When I was a little kid, I loved snowcones. In fact, a few weeks ago when I was at the Ringling Bros. Circus, I got a humongous one that came in a clown's head (I still wonder why I didn't get the pink and white horse head...jerks) for about 18$. As I opened my mouth to take a huge bite of the deliciously berry flavored ice, it was then that I realized that my years of eating nothing but fruit had ruined my teeth and a wave of off-white pain filled my entire mouth. So basically snowcones are a love-hate interest. Also, I hope you learned something else from this- citrus fruit is NOT that good for you! If you're looking for sources of vitamin C, eat the dark leafy vegetables instead!

From Sexliesandcoffee: What's your opinion on gay marriage? Agree or disagree?

Surprisingly, this is a hot topic that I don't feel so strongly about as to actually blog about it. My thing is this- yes, they should be allowed to get married. However, if they want to be married in a church, then it is the Pastor's decision whether or not to marry them. Just like straight people don't need to be forcing anti-gay-marriage laws onto homosexuals, homosexuals can't be allowed to force a religious institution to do something that goes against their moral laws and prejudices. Still, if they are that adamant about being married in a church, then I'm sure that somewhere there is a pastor/chaplain/priest willing to do so. If not, then there's always courthouses and private "priests" that don't teach sermons anywhere but are willing to travel to meet couples at strange settings, such as beaches, stables, their own backyards, etc.

OH COME ON. Everyone should know by now that I adore cats more than any other animal on the planet, except maybe horses. I have two and they are the most privileged animals on the earth. Usually my cat Mrowmrow will share half my steak behind my dad's back (shh!), and he always splits my chicken nuggets with me at McDonald's. And then I got a new one, that we named Pigwidgeon! He's a little brown tabby. (: I. love. cats!

P.S- your geographic tongue thing? I should have won that ;D There's a lot more to the geographic tongue problem than "raised" and "indenty" things. ROFL.

Oh wow, that's a tough one. I have over 23 gigabytes of music on my iTunes, and I literally sorted through all of it earlier to try and figure out an answer. In reality, I don't have a specific song, but there are albums that mark certain time periods of my life. Most recently, however, I can think of the best band in the world- WHY?. I started listening to these guys (Yoni and Josiah Wolf) about...three years ago, and fell in love with their Crushed Bones track- they recently released a new album, Eskimo Snow (-cough-Thanksmr.blueskye-cough-), and even though I personally don't like because they changed their sound, I'm going to see them on November 13th. I plan on bringing all of my EPs, LPs, and albums to get signed- seriously, these guys are intensely awesome. It takes some people a while to jump into their music, and I can't really figure out their genre...I'd always just call them my indie rap band. They write their lyrics more so for the imagery than for true meaning, and it blows my mind every time. I can easily listen to one song for hours. I recommend their Alopecia album if you're interested; here's the lyrics to my current "favorite" song of theirs, called "Good Friday":

They don't use typical instruments (drums and guitar, yes, occasional bass, etc.), but instead seem to make up their own instruments. The beats can be intense and the rhythms will surprise you...each song has a new twist or surprise. If you listen to Good Friday and like it, please please PLEASE listen to "Torpedo's or Crohn's".

On Xanga? Male award goes to DearRicky, just because he's extremely nice to me and his shit cracks me up (even the real shit posts, BAHAHA). Female award...hmm. There's a lot of really friendly girls I've met, some of which have the same sort of ideas with me on things, which is pretty cool. I like SerenaDante's stuff, and I've been reading a lot more of Loonsounds stuff too. Outside of Xanga, the only Xangan I talk to is Caminjammers, AKA Cameron AKA Moonpie. :D

From johnny_hopkins: Story about your first kiss?

Hmm. I was sixteen (he was seventeen), and it was with my first "real" boyfriend; the boyfriends in the past had rarely gotten hugs, let alone a kiss! He decided that even though he "hated" church, he'd go along with me to my youth group, but ended up convincing me to skip out with him and walk a little ways outside of the parking lot back to a little government housing neighborhood playground. I was so so so nervous! I'd never had a closed-mouth peck, let alone with tongue, and he was so sweet about it...it took him nearly an hour, haha, and he only managed to get one because i was up against the slide and was basically cornered. And even then I was incredibly nervous and was absolutely terrible. But we practiced more, and I got loads better. We dated for about five months, and then he broke my heart (: How nice of him. ROFL.

YELLOW! 100%, yellow. Most people guess it'd be green or pink, but I adore yellow. I don't look good in it, but I want my wedding dress to be this beautiful yellow with lots of ruffles and such. My entire room is painted yellow, with teal drapes and a teal comforter, etc., and black picture frames accenting my main wall. Yellow goes with so many colors! :D

He comes home today! After two days of endless BULLSHIT from the veterinarian, he finally gets to come back. I've never been so happy over something in my entire life. I have this job interview, and then directly afterwards I go straight there. I'll edit in pictures of him in his cone later; I know he probably looks pathetically adorable in it.
